wednesday lets play some MTTS, 9th in $22 3k on AP

Decided to take a break from the $11 45 mans and play some MTTs. Since I have been on a bit of a downswing I am playing cheaper MTTs and also trying not to play more than about 6 at a time. I have played as many as 12 fairly comfortably but have recently decided that although I have improved a lot, I am still not far enough a long in my game to play a high enough level with that many tables going. To be honest I should probably stay around 4 tables at a time until I achieve the next level, but I do believe just these type realizations is the start of me reaching the next level. I played pool for a living for several years and knowing how you play is the most important thing to know to make money in the pool hall. I am sure it is the same at poker, if you think you are way better than you are it will stunt your growth and cost you money. I am trying to get a better handle on exactly how I play so I can improve my game dramatically. GL ME

Tuesday

Starting off with $11 45 mans again, played 12 in first session with 2 cashes 1 win. I also played in Trishelle's 10k on AP and $11 12k on Stars, no luck with Trishelle, but I am still in the 12k. I am starting another $11 45 man session and trying to take down this 12k, updates to follow. Played 6 more 45 mans with no results but did cash in the 12k to break about even for the day. Monday, NFL and Poker,

Go BEARS. Was a great game, both QBs played well and lots of excitement. I also played 26 $11 45 man sngs and cashed in 4 with 1 win 2 4ths and a 5th. Still lurking around but not sure if I am going to play more. Was a decent day and I enjoyed playing the 45 mans.

Wednesday! GL ME, 4th 27.50 10k gtd on AP

Been struggling some lately in a few ways and really trying to get a hold on why. Was wanting to start reading some and playing less but ended up playing today instead. I was running bad and playing bad so I stopped registering early but did end up going deep and final tabling one MTT, 4th in a 27.50 10k gtd on AP for 775. I got some valuable help from my chat group as well that will help tons as I keep playing. I am to the point where I just have to play less and spend some time reading and going over my HHs at least one day a week. I will keep improving. GL ME

Tuesday with Trishelle, I LOVE DATE NIGHT

The deep run I had last night with friends from my new chat group railing was actually inspiring even though I got 9th. Several comments that were made helped me and got me thinking. Looking forward to a good night of poker. Also a friend in my area I have a lot of respect for is coming over for a poker session, should help us both. GL ME, updates will follow. NCAAF Saturday

I pumped up pretty good this year but recently have been up and down and treading water. I am taking my second day off in a row, and today will be watching football all day. My plan is to attack it differently when I play again and quantify all my tasks to come up with the best solutions. I want to win! GL ALL

Taking a day off. I know I have leaks not only in my poker game but in my daily processes. I am coming up with a plan of action to continue my improvements. Word for the day is "Quantify". GL ME!

Tuesday........

Well definitely starting today a little different. For several months I have been showering and going to get food within and hour of being awake and starting a poker session. I would then play usually 6 to 12 hours, but today I started my day with watching TV. The reason is because poker is not easy and there is lots of ups and downs and variance. I have been on a bit of a down swing that I pulled out of twice just to find myself back around the same spot. So I am trying to do some serious reflecting and hoping to discover some leaks I can plug. I also have been reading "Let there be range" By Tri Nguyen and Cole South, and I am hoping it helps too. I know to be a winner at poker you must work on your game constantly and try to bring the best out of yourself. My plan is to start trying harder and learn how to give more focus and attention to the right things. GL ME

Okay so I started with a $33 satellite to a 320 seat and in trying to make sure I got the T$ instead of playing I accidentally ended up in the 320 MTT, but I did win the seat too. Luckily I cashed in it 16th place so it all worked out. I also had a couple other cashes and had a decent night. Hopefully more improving and winning tomorrow.

Monday!

Starting with some 1/2 nl and playing Mini Ftops 16. Updates later Had a nice stack in mini ftops for a while but hit a brick wall, also got crushed at 1/2 nl. Done for the night, need to work on some things and get on the upswing. GL ALL

Sunday!

Sunday was a lil rough didnt play long and came out loser from 1/2 nl and MTTs. Going to enjoy my evening and reflect.

Saturday.

Started pretty early and played lots of MTTs, ended up cashing in 6 of 29 but came out loser. Hopefully I will have better luck tomorrow. I didn't play any 1/2 nl for the second day in a row, and I feel I need to. SO hopefully tomorrow I will. GL ALL

Friday, No really, its Friday

Well started real early at Noon. Played 34 MTTs today with 8 cashes. Got 13th in one of the last ones I was in, ugh. Ended up a little loser on the day, but had a great day and learned a lot thanks to the new group i joined. Thanks guys. Better luck tomorrow.

Thursday is the day to win some $; 2nd in $66 10k on AP

Started a lil earlier today with Mini Ftops 3 at 4pm cen. Also playing some 1/2 nl on AP. Hoping to have a great night. I got invited into a new chat group last night and they did audio chat during my first chat with them, I improved a lot thanks to their help. Thanks guys! To bad for Jeremy on Americas Got Talent, I wanted him to win. Updates on my night later. Well cashed in Mini Ftops 3 and a couple others with one Final Table that I ended up in 2nd for $1833 in a $66 10k gtd on AP. Also played some 1/2 nl got in about 1200 hands and broke about even. SO with the 2nd place it was a great night. Hopefully I can ship a Mini Ftops tomorrow.

Wednesday. Start of Mini FTOPS

GL GL GL. I started at 7:30pm central with a couple MTTs and some 1/2 nl, but really excited for the Mini FTOPS that starts at 8. Updates later. Placed in the Mini Ftops but only cashed for $104, hopefully I'll do better tomorrow. I had 1 other cash out of 11 MTTs and had a small loser at 1/2 nl.

Tuesday, Terrific Tuesday!

STarting at 7pm central with some MTTs and will prob play 1/2 nl later. Updates to follow. Cashed in a $26 28k on FTP, still in the Midnight Madness and ITM, not doing so hot at 1/2 nl on AP at the moment but I expect to turn it around. Updates follow. Ran terrible at 1/2 nl for a decent loser of a day. Better luck tomorrow.

Monday, Bounce Back Day, cracker9ball 4th in $26 15k on FTP

Planning on trying to bounce back and make some $ today. Updates will follow.

First couple hours were spent in a PxF chat session with Fox reviewing HHs, and started a 27.50 10k MTT at 8:20, will play 1/2 nl later as well, updates to follow.

I played a few MTTs 1FT and got in 900 hands of 1/2 nl for-$91, but had a nice return with the Final Table. I took a break for an hr or so then decided to play another 1/2 nl session, I played about 700 hands and won +$86.

Sunday the 5th

Slept in again, trying same approach as yesterday. I will start some MTTs at 7pm central and move onto 1/2 nl later. Updates to follow

Played 6hrs and 1800 hands the 1st session to win $158 at 1/2 nl

2nd session was 2374 hands and I lost -864

Had bad run late where I got drawn out on a few times and had second best a few times.

Tues Aug 31: 2 sessions 1/2 nl 4hrs 4-8 tables +$248, 1/2 nl 6hrs +$132
